🇬🇧 Share with your networks: the 2026 external researcher competition campaign is now open!
The CNRS is recruiting its researchers of tomorrow: applications for the competition are now open until January 12.
As a major player in fundamental research on a global scale, every year the CNRS recruits a large number of permanent researchers through competitive examinations, based on criteria of excellence. Many open positions cover a wide range of scientific fields: the humanities and social sciences, biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, nuclear and high-energy physics, engineering and systems sciences, information sciences, the sciences of the universe, ecology and environmental science.
On CNRS alumni, nearly 40% of our members have gone through this stage and have been researchers at the CNRS. This competition marked a real turning point in their careers and opened up a new field of possibilities for them.
As alumni, you are the best ambassadors for promoting CNRS competitions and sharing your experiences. Perhaps you know researchers who would like to join the organization: feel free to share this campaign with your networks!
