🇬🇧 Call for participants : alumni and OMER Graduate students full day meeting
The ambition for the Groupement de Recherche Océan et Mers (GDR OMER) is to unite scientists from every field through transverse and transdiciplinary approaches about Seas and Oceans. The goal is to characterize, anticipate and follow changes the ocean is facing, through a prospective research effort.
In order to support these actions, GDR OMER will gather 30 or so graduates or postgraduates involved in interdisciplinary marine research in order to allow them to meet relevant professionnals who would accompany them in defining objectives, carriers, outcomes during an informal and friendly venue in Paris. Perspectives in various administrations, like ministries, local bodies, industries or other potential partners would be of greatest interest for those young professionals.
👉 We need you, CNRS alumni !
It is not an April's fool 🐟 ! We will gather April 1st, 2026 at the CNRS headquarters in Paris.
If you feel like adding your little piece to this project, and wish to take part in this pilot project, leave us a note explaining your interests at guillaume.stahl(AT)cnrs.fr. Every line of work, every scientific domain is potentially interesting to us !
Please forward this call, or send us details about alumni or other who sound interesting to this project. The idea is really to prepare young trandisciplinary researchers to their future carrier, and present them with new horizons in various socio-economical fields. And for you to identify future talents among those atypical and interdisciplinary young colleagues.
