A look back at the CNRS alumni annual reunion: a moment of sharing and collective momentum!
On september 26th, at the CNRS headquarters in Paris, a high energy event took place: the 2025 CNRS alumni annual reunion. More than 60 alumni gathered for an afternoon of work and fun, mixing generations, disciplines and diversity of professional stories.
👉 A look back at a meeting that marked a real turning point for our network!
   | Starting the afternoon, inspiring testimonials set up the mood for the day. After a short introduction relating the network's first year by Guillaume Stahl, the floor was given to the alumni themselves: Cathie Vix, Erwan Marec-Challand, Elizabeth Bernardo and Vincent Mignotte told us their successes, their career path, but also the precious bond that still have with the CNRS. Those stories enlightened diversity and richness among CNRS alumni, and underlined the asset this link to CNRS constitutes for most of us. « World Café » workshops, organized around five major themes essential to the networks put us to work together on CNRS alumni's future. Lively and constructive discussions lead to numerous ideas : how to boost animation, develop regional and international chapters, foster mentoring. Beyond the ideas, what really came across was a strong desire to collectively take action. And since a nice day never ends with work, closing cocktail went late into the evening, allowing further discussions, accompanied by a warm concert by the Tchena Family trio. |
What a success : 93% of the participants declare themselves very satisfied when asked about this first edition! Beyond workshops, reunion with former colleagues, with lost faces, and meeting new ones was really the highlight for this day.
Many thanks to all whom made it this time. Your enthusiasm, your ideas and you implication have been the best proof that this network is very much alive and will expand even further. This rendez-vous has deepen our link to this network, but it is also a new hallmark for our next initiatives to come in the coming month.
And to those who didn't make it, there will be many more occasions to meet in person!
